Monsoon withdraws completely from 9 districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar (14/10/2025): In the past 24 hours, the monsoon has fully retreated from 9 districts of Odisha. It has withdrawn from Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Balasore, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Subarnapur, and Bargarh. The southwest monsoon has also receded from most parts of 7 additional districts, and it is expected to withdraw completely from these areas within the next 24 hours. In 14 other districts, the monsoon has not yet retreated, but favourable weather conditions indicate that it will likely withdraw within the next day.
