Firecrackers allowed for two hours on Diwali

Bhubaneswar(14/10/2025): The Odisha government has issued guidelines for bursting firecrackers ahead of the Diwali celebrations.

As per the notification, people will be allowed to burst firecrackers only between 7 PM and 9 PM this year. The State Pollution Control Board has issued the directive, emphasizing the need to follow all safety and environmental norms while celebrating. The restricted time slot aims to reduce air and noise pollution and ensure a safe and eco-friendly Diwali for everyone.
