Digital registration system will be implemented for Habisyali mothers: Odisha CM

Bhubaneswar (14/10/2025): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri on Monday night.
The Chief Minister informed, "From next year, a digital registration system will be implemented for Habisyali mothers.
Under the system, medical and emergency services will be provided to them." He said, "The devotion of Habisyaali mothers is a symbol of Odisha's moral strength and cultural identity.
The state government has allocated Rs 3.30 crore for the welfare of Habisyaali mothers this year, which is Rs 70 lakh more than the previous year." CM Majhi announced that Puri will be developed as a world-class religious city. During his visit, the CM talked with Habisyalis at Brundabati Nivas.
