E-WENT strengthens its EV presence with a diverse two-wheeler portfolio

Kolkata(14/10/2025): E-WENT, the electric mobility venture of Saraogi E-Ventures, strengthened its position in India’s rapidly growing EV two-wheeler market with a versatile lineup designed for reliability, safety, and everyday practicality.
With a focus on sustainable mobility and accessible innovation, the brand showcased its commitment to building India-ready electric scooters tailored for diverse terrains from Assam’s rolling hills and rural roads to busy urban streets. At the forefront of the portfolio, the Lightning delivered a combination of style, performance, and convenience that resonated with riders seeking independence, comfort, and dependable performance.
While not limited to any one segment, Lightning became a preferred choice among riders looking for effortless control and smooth rides across varied road conditions.
Its dual, portable battery system allowed charging anywhere at home, office, or shared accommodations eliminating range anxiety.
The advanced Maxx Power technology, coupled with an IP67-rated motor, offered powerful torque and superior traction, ensuring stability on steep gradients, uneven surfaces, and water-logged roads common in Assam’s terrain.
The Voltum Graphene battery technology further enhanced mileage, charging speed, and lifecycle durability, reinforcing E-WENT’s commitment to long-term value and sustainability. E-WENT also highlighted the growing popularity of its Rabbitor and JV models, both designed for daily commuters seeking dependable, cost-effective, and user-friendly transportation.
Rabbitor offered a balance of range and comfort ideal for longer commutes and mixed terrains, while JV proved a practical choice for riders navigating both urban and semi-hilly routes.
Both models featured E-WENT’s Smart Connector and Dual Mode Controller system, optimizing energy use, torque output, and battery health for consistently smooth rides even on challenging roads. Over the years, E-WENT placed more than 15,000 scooters on Indian roads, maintaining a warranty claim rate below 1.5%, underscoring its engineering reliability and customer-first approach.
The company strengthened its after-sales infrastructure through a 24-hour parts dispatch system, a 7-day helpline, and technical training programs for dealers, ensuring a seamless service experience across its 250+ dealerships in seven states.
Production was carried out in two manufacturing plants located in Kolkata and Hyderabad, with a third facility planned in western India by 2027. Forbes recognized E-WENT as “the EV India can trust and afford”, commending the brand’s focus on practical innovation and long-term dependability.
The publication also described E-WENT as “the EV maker who designed around real life”, praising its ability to engineer scooters suited to India’s real conditions from urban congestion to hilly regions like Assam rather than chasing idealized performance benchmarks. “Our vision was always to build electric scooters that combine performance, safety, and long-term value, empowering every rider to travel confidently and sustainably,” said Umang Saraogi, Director, E-WENT.
He shared, “Each product in our lineup was designed around the realities of Indian roads from the crowded streets of metros to the steep and scenic routes of Assam and the Northeast to deliver a truly reliable and comfortable riding experience.” With its combination of advanced battery technology, robust engineering, and customer-focused service, E-WENT not only strengthened its presence in India’s EV market but also contributed to building a more reliable and sustainable mobility ecosystem.
By leveraging the Saraogi Group’s legacy and an innovation-driven approach, the company positioned itself as a trusted EV brand delivering performance, safety, and long-term value across India’s cities and hill states alike .
