Who is Anshul Garg — the Debut Producer behind the back-to-back musical hits of Ek Deewane Ki DEEWANIYAT

Bhubaneswar (13/10/2025): If there’s one film that has turned into a musical sensation even before its release, it’s Ek Deewane Ki DEEWANIYAT.
The romantic drama, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, has already delivered four back-to-back hit songs — a feat rarely achieved ahead of a film’s premiere.
And at the heart of this success story is Anshul Garg, who is making his debut as a film producer under his banner Desi Movies Factory. For many, Anshul Garg needs no introduction.
As the founder of Desi Music Factory (DMF) and Play DMF, he has been instrumental in shaping India’s independent music scene, giving audiences some of the biggest pop hits in recent years.
Known for his instinctive ear for melody and knack for recognizing talent, Garg has now seamlessly transitioned from chartbusters to cinema — and his debut production is already proving to be a musical blockbuster. The film’s soundtrack kicked off with its title track, “Deewaniyat,” sung by Vishal Mishra, which became an instant sensation for its haunting melody and lyrical intensity.
The song set the tone for what audiences could expect — a story of love, passion, and obsession, amplified by music that resonates. The second song, “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga,” sung by Neha Kakkar and Farhan Sabri, brought heartbreak to the forefront.
The track, choreographed by Remo D’Souza, combined raw emotion with striking visuals featuring Sonam Bajwa and Harshvardhan Rane, quickly earning praise for its scale and sincerity. The third release, “Mera Hua,” offered a contrasting mood — a softer, more soulful expression of love and longing.
Sung and composed by Ankkur R Pathakk with lyrics by Sachin Urmtosh, the song’s heartfelt composition added yet another layer to the film’s already rich musical palette. Now, as excitement builds for the fourth track, “Dil Dil Dil,” releasing tomorrow, anticipation is at an all-time high.
Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Sandeep Jahan, with lyrics by Siddhant Kaushal and music composed by Anu Malik, the song promises to be a fusion of passion, rhythm, and cinematic energy — another strong addition to the album that’s dominating playlists and reels alike. Produced by Anshul Garg and co produced by Raghav Sharma, Ek Deewane Ki DEEWANIYAT stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, and its music has become one of the biggest talking points in the industry.
The film’s soundtrack is being hailed for reviving the classic Bollywood tradition of using music to drive emotion and narrative — a balance that’s been missing in modern cinema. For Anshul Garg, this transition into films wasn’t a calculated business move but a natural progression of his creative journey.
Having already built one of the most successful independent music empires in India, he saw cinema as the next step in storytelling.
With Ek Deewane Ki DEEWANIYAT, he’s not only entered the film space but has also redefined how music-led narratives can shape audience anticipation. Set for release this Diwali, 21st October 2025, Ek Deewane Ki DEEWANIYAT is already being touted as one of the most anticipated romantic dramas of the year — and Anshul Garg’s dream debut as a film producer is shaping up to be nothing short of a phenomenon.
