47,126 dogs living in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation region

Bhubaneswar (13/10/2025): There are 47,126 dogs comprising 23,047 male dogs, 15,552 bitches and 1,124 puppies, living in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation region.

Of them, 4,068 male and 3,335 female dogs have been sterilised. The BMC has set a target to sterlise 80 to 100 dogs per day.
