Sustainability Dialogue Series 'SAMVAAYA 2025' held at XIM University

Bhubaneswar (11/10/2025): The School of Sustainability, XIM University, in collaboration with Sustainability Management- Career Advisory Services, hosted the Sustainability Dialogue Series – SAMVAAYA 2025 on “From Risk to Resilience: Leveraging Climate, Energy, Supply Chains, and Biodiversity for a Just Transition.” The event began with lightening of lamp by Vice Chancellor Dr Fr K.S.Casimir SJ, XIM University, Dean School of Sustainability Prof.Sutapa Pati and the esteemed guests of the day.

The keynote speakers of the day were Dr.Ankur Chaturvedi (ESG Lead, Emami Ltd.), Debraj Datta (Director, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP), Pawan (Founder / Director & CEO, Sparrow Risk Management Pvt.Ltd.) and Ashok Kumar Biswal (Manager - Harit Initiative, HCL Foundation).

In the first session the students were addressed by the speakers with engaging insights and sustainability interventions featuring “Just transition”. Post the speech, a panel discussion was held on "Financing the Just Transition: Risk, Resilience, and Return" by the eminent experts in the presence of the moderator Amlan Shome (Senior Advisor, Commercial Sustainability, A.P Moller.Maersk) who led the discussions regarding business risk, biodiversity, climate resilience, energy transitions, India’s SDG performance, and corporate green growth.
