Pranati Nayak of Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre wins Bronze at Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships

Bhubaneswar(16/06/025): Pranati Nayak, the distinguished elite gymnast from the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre (HPC), has once again brought laurels to the state and the Nation, clinching the bronze medal in the Vault finals of Senior Women Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships held in Jecheon, South Korea from June 12-15, 2025.
This impressive feat marks her second international podium finish this year, firmly cementing her status as one of India's leading women artistic gymnasts. Pranati scored 13.083 in the qualification round and went on to elevate her performance in the finals with a score of 13.466, earning bronze medal for India.
The result follows her earlier success at the FIG World Cup in Antalya, Turkey, where she also won a bronze on Vault, a sign of her strengthening consistency and form on the global stage. On this result Pranati said, “I'm incredibly grateful to Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre for providing a world-class training environment that helped me prepare for this championship.
The support from my coaches and the rigorous training at HPC have been instrumental in my journey.
I am honoured to represent my country, and I will continue to work hard for future competitions to bring more glory to our Nation.” In the lead-up to the championship, the HPC was privileged to host the National Training Camp for the Indian contingent, offering a world-class training environment that ensured the best possible preparation for the athletes.
The National camp brought together India’s top 28 gymnasts from across the country and international and national level coaches.
Two gymnasts of the HPC - Pranati Nayak, Tapan Mohanty, represented India at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships, highlighting the growing strength of Odisha's gymnastics talent. Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) – a joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel has partnered with the Government of Odisha to promote and grow the sport of gymnastics in India and transform Odisha into a premier gymnastics’ excellence hub.
The ‘Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Center’, a facility housed in the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar is meant for senior athletes participating in the 'Elite Senior Gymnastics Programme'.
Additionally, it includes three ‘Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics Academies’ located in Puri, Jeypore, and Rourkela for grassroots level athletes.
AM/NS India operates these activities under its CSR initiative ‘Udaan’ and aims to train 360 sportspeople every year with world-class coaching by international and national gymnastics coaches.
