ESSPL’s new state-of-the-art global development center “UTKARSH” opens in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(27/06/2022): UTKARSH, the new state-of-the-art global development center ESSPL was inaugurated near Infocity Square, Bhubaneswar on by Minister of State, Home, E & IT, Sports & Youth Minister of State (Independent Charge) Tusharkanti Behera, in the presence of Manoj Kumar Mishra, IRTS, Secretary, Electronics & IT, Government of Odisha, Manas Ranjan Panda, Director, STPI, Bhubaneswar and Sudhir Jaiswal, President & CEO ESSPL. ESSPL is a global information technology services enterprise with local roots enabling logistics and supply chain operations for more than 24 years. Speaking about the new facility Sudhir Jaiswal, President & CEO ESSPL, said, “UTKARSH is ESSPL’s new state-of-the-art global development center in addition to its existing facilities, which will be able to accommodate over 300 developers.

Bhubaneswar has emerged to be one of the IT hubs over the past few years; the city has witnessed numerous talents over the years.

One of the aims of creating Utkarsh has been focused on attracting more talents from the city and developing better talents for tomorrow.” Being a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) registered green building project and aiming to achieve LEED Platinum rating, highest by GBCI, India, it demonstrates ESSPL’s resolve towards solar passive architecture, water conservation, renewable energy utilization, low embodied energy building material usage and better ergonomic quality to enhance employee health & well-being.

The green development center with low carbon footprint will be a small contribution of ESSPL towards global climate change mitigation and an important step towards supporting the expanded growth plan envisioned for the company.

The inaugural event concluded with the mesmerizing performance by the Students from Ananda Marg High School, Balasore and Odissi dance performance by employees of ESSPL .
