‘Montha’ approaching: Alert issued in Paradip
Paradip(25/10/2025): An alert has been issued for Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district in view of the possible cyclone ‘Montha’.The Fisheries Department and Marine Police are warning fishermen through loudspeaker announcements. Awareness campaigns are being carried out at Nehrubungala Fishing Harbour, Atharabanki, and Sandhkuda areas.Similar announcements are also being made in Nua Bazar and Chaumuhani localities. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea till October 29 and those already at sea have been urged to return to the shore immediately.
