Bhubaneswar sizzles at 41.9 degrees Celsius, becomes hottest city in Odisha

Bhubaneswar(16/04/2024): Amid rising mercury in Odisha, Bhubaneswar became the hottest city with a maximum temperature of 41.9 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Six cities recorded temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above.Chandbali in Bhadrak district recorded 41.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Jharsuguda (41.4 degrees Celsius), Balasore (40.5 degrees Celsius), Sambalpur (40.3 degrees Celsius), Keonjhar (40 degrees Celsius). The India Meteorological Department IMD stated that the day temperature is very likely to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius at many places during the next three days .
