ASI team inspects Lingaraj Temple after lightning burns flag

Bhubaneswar(09/10/2025): After lightning struck and burned the flag atop Lingaraj Temple, a team from the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) visited the temple premises for inspection on Thursday.

The team members examined the temple’s spire and surrounding areas to assess the damage. The burnt flag was removed, and a new flag was raised in its place.
