
India witnesses rare Blood Moon
Bhubaneswar(08/09/2025): Enthusiasts across India caught the glimpses of the rare Blood Moon or total lunar eclipse on September 7-8, 2025. The lunar eclipse was visible across the country, including major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai and others.The total lunar eclipse was visible in Puri of Odisha. The eclipse began at 8:58 PM and lasted till 2:25 AM. The moon was fully immersed in Earth's shadow from 11:01 PM to 12:23 AM, for a duration of 82 minutes. The total eclipse concluded around 12:26 AM.
