Special focus to be given to parking during Durga Puja

Bhubaneswar (04/09/2025): A preparatory meeting by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday decided to give special focus to parking during the upcoming Durga Puja. As per decision, no Meena Bazaar will be allowed without parking arrangements. No permission will be given for Ravana effigy burning without proper planning. No decorative gates (torana) will be allowed on main roads. Control rooms will be opened at immersion sites. Police will distribute awareness messages at night. Repair of electric poles and wires will be prioritized before the festival. Stray dogs will be removed from near the pandals. This was shared by Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das.
