Bahuda Yatra celebrated with great enthusiasm in Puri

Puri(05/07/2025): The Bahuda Yatra or return car festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour in the holy city of Puri on Saturday. Pulling of chariots started at 2:45 PM amid chants of 'Jai Jagannath' by lakhs of devotees. Chariot pulling began one hour ahead of schedule following the 'Chhera Pahanra' atop the chariots by Puri Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb near Gundicha Temple. A total of 205 police force were deployed for smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra.
