Bal- Mela on Child Rights held

Bhubaneswar (10/06/2025): In a bid to sensitize the children focused to rights to live, right to development, right to protection, and right to participation as well as key protection mechanism were discussed at Gadakana Kalyani Sahi under Ward No-9 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation organized by ActionAid Association in Collaboration with Center for Child and Women Development on Tuesday.The objective the Bal- Mela was to strengthen the Child Club and aware them about key protection mechanism said Kalyani Rout, Community Trainer.The Bal – mela is an unique step to develop the right to participation of child rights, said Sucharita Behera, Community Trainer.She also shared that personal hygienic is most important.Child club members sang ane played a game on how to protect ground water and combat climate change.Lastly, Smrutirekha Das proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.The programme was coordinated by Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan .
