Odisha government aims to provide 40,000 more jobs this year: CM

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi presented the report card of his government after one year in office.
While addressing a press conference in Bhubaneswar, the Chief Minister announced that the government aims to provide 40,000 more jobs this year and fill up 1.5 lakh vacant posts in the next five years.
The CM highlighted, "So far, 28,000 government posts have been filled.
We have fulfilled the promises made in our manifesto.
The government is working towards making Odisha one of the top five states in the country.
He also mentioned plans to provide reservations in technical education.
CM Majhi stated that the state government is also preparing for a programme to be attended by the Prime Minister, where it will showcase its achievements and future plans. Providing good governance is my responsibility, he added.
