Pharmacy raided in Cuttack

Cuttack (10/06/2025): As part of a joint operation by the Drug Control and Excise departments to crack down on the sale of illicit drugs, a pharmacy at Ranihat in Cuttack on Tuesday.The raid focused on the sale of MTP kits and abortion pills.The operation aims to curb the sale of unauthorized medicines in the area. Similar raids were carried out at medicine stores at Nayapalli area in Bhubaneswar on June 9 after receiving complaints regarding sale of abortion kits without prescriptions .
