Empowering NSS Volunteers as Disaster Preparedness and Climate Champions

Bhubaneswar(10/05/2025): A programme titled "Empowering NSS Volunteers as Disaster Preparedness and Climate Champions" was organised by NSS Bureau,CHSE and CYSD,Bhubaneswar on Saturday. A total of 20 Higher Secondary schools involving 6 districts namely Puri,Ganjam, Kendrapara,Jagatsinghpur, Bhadrak and Balasore participated. As manyvas 40 NSS volunteers and 20 programme officers took part actively. Jagadananda ,Co-founder of CYSD initiated followed by Chairman,CHSE Mrunal Kanti Das, Dr Biswa Mohana Jena,PC,NSS coordinated it. Manoj Kumar Rout, retired Principal and Dr Gourishankar Jena, Assiatant Professor in Botany Government Angul Auto College also participated in it. Vote of thanks was given by ADPO Dr Raghunath Mandal.
