Consultation on National Education Policy-2020 held

Bhubaneswar(10/05/2025): Aiming to raise awareness about the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 and to create a vibrant platform for the wellbeing of children in difficult situations, dropouts as well as inclusive education for all is most essential, said the dignitaries at the a programme held at Redcross Bhawan, Bhubaneswar under the banner of Center for Child & Women Development (CCWD).
Attending as guest Subhabala Behera, Secretary of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha shared that socioeconomic development and livelihood opportunity as well as inclusive education is most essential.
Among others Dr.Rina Ghadei, Principal of Debray College, Bhubaneswar & Sukumar Biswal, retired head master, focused on role of parents-teachers meeting (PTM) as well as language-based education.
The objective of the consultation waa shared by Dr.Priyanath Pattayat.
Welcoming the gathering, Secretary of CCWD Sadasiv Swain said that child friendly environment, quality education and schooling of dropout children is most important.
Lastly Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.
In this consultation students of different colleges, universities, members of Bhubaneswar Young Urban women Forum, slum level human rights defenders, representatives of civil society organizations and parents participated .
