13-year-old boy grievously injured after falling onto iron grill

Bhubaneswar(18/04/2025): A 13-year-old boy sustained grievous injuries after falling onto an iron grill at IRC Village in Bhubaneswar on Friday.The incident occurred while the child named Sohan Digal was attempting to retrieve his school uniforms on the rooftop. On being informed, the fire services personnel, who had been in the locality to clear trees broken due to thunderstorms following Nor'wester (Kalbaisakhi) in local parlance) in the morning, used a cutting machine to extricate the minor boy from the iron grill.The boy was then transported to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar. Sohan is a permanent resident of Kandhamal district.
