Bhubaneswar(25/03/2025): Temperatures in Odisha are expected to rise by 6 degrees Celsius in the next 4 days.The districts of Sambalpur, Sonpur, Balangir, and Kalahandi have been put on alert. Daytime temperatures will soar, while nighttime temperatures will also increase by 3 degrees Celsius within the next 2 days.This heatwave will bring severe heatwave conditions, especially in the western and central parts of the state. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period.Stay hydrated, avoid venturing out during the hottest part of the day, and wear light, loose-fitting clothing to help beat the heat.
