Chaos erupt as fans scramble to buy tickets for Barabati Match

Cuttack(05/02/2025): A massive crowd gathered outside the ticket counter for the upcoming match at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, leading to chaotic scenes.
Thousands of cricket fans queue up outside the historic Barabati Stadium here as the offline sale of the tickets for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) between India and England began on Wednesday. Fans were seen lined up on the road since last night waiting for the ticket counters to open so that they can grab a seat for the ODI clash. There will be four ticket counters for the offline sale. As many as 17 platoons of force will be deployed during the sale of tickets. The online ticket sales for the match began at 4 pm on February 2 and were sold out within minutes.
However, only 4,000 of the tickets were sold online while a whole lot more will be available offline at the stadium counters on February 5 and 6. Ticket Prices Summary: Gallery No.1: Rs 1,100, Gallery No.2: Rs 900, Gallery No.3: Rs 1,100, Gallery No.4: Rs 900, Gallery No.5: Rs 1,200, Gallery No.6: Rs 700, Gallery No.7: Rs 700, Special Enclosure: Rs 6,000, AC Box: Rs 8,000, New Pavilion: Rs 10,000 and Corporate Box: Rs 20,000.
