Odisha allocated Rs 35,536 crore for education: CM

Bhubaneswar(21/01/2025): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announced that the state has allocated Rs 35,536 crore for education. Speaking at a three-day National Education Policy workshop, the Chief Minister emphasized that the National Education Policy will be implemented in the state, focusing on children aged 3-8 years.
Basic literacy will also be prioritized. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that the "Shishu Batika" program will commence in April.
The program will be launched in 63,000 schools, catering to children aged 3-5 years.
