Schools in BMC area to remain closed after 1 pm today

Bhubaneswar (29/11/2024): All schools in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area will remain closed after 1 pm today ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's three-day visit to Odisha for the All India Conference of Directors General and Inspectors General in the capital city. Both government and private schools will remain shut after 1 pm for convenience of students and their guardians. Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place in the city for the conference.Around 70 platoons of police force have been deployed in the city.
