Minor girl found hanging in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (09/07/2024): A minor girl was found hanging inside a house at Sriramnagar slum under Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The girl was from Uttar Pradesh.Her body was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside a house that was locked from outside. Mancheswar police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident with the help of a scientific team. It is suspected that the girl might have been murdered. The minor girl was reportedly staying in a woman’s house in the slum as a maid.According to the woman, the girl was in a love relationship and she locked the house from outside fearing that the girl might elope with her lover.The woman claimed that the girl has committed suicide.
