
Artist Gayatri Sahu creates mesmerizing paintings on Lord Jagannath on Rath Jatra
Bhubaneswar (07/07/2024): On the auspicious occasion of Rath Jatra, artist Gayatri Sahu has created two mesmerizing paintings of Lord Jagannath. The canvas painting by Gayatri at ISKCON temple in Bhubaneswar was done using acrylic colour.The artist says, "After getting permission from ISKCON, I created the painting of 4.5 feet on A-3 size paper.It was appreciated by the temple authorities and devotees.I donated the painting to ISKCON" Gayatri has done another painting which showcases her love towards Lord Jagannath.In the painting done by her using colour pencil, she was seen holding an image of Lord Jagannath in her lap. Gayatri, a student of BK College of Arts, hails from Balarampur in Ganjam district of Odisha. She provides coaching to children on art and craft.
