Bhubaneswar (14/05/2024): In an attempt to explore the talents of young minds and orient them to achieve excellence, a five days training workshop on “Eco-friendly Jewellery Design” was organized by Nrutya Upasana Pitha, Patia, Bhubaneswar from May 6 to 10 and further to be extended by another five days.
The workshop was curated and conducted by the leading designer of eco-friendly Jewellery and accessories Priyadarsini Das.
As a part of her extended social responsibility through her brand “Ecodarsini”, she conducted this workshop completely free of cost.
Nrutya Upasana Pitha, one of the well-known institutions in the field of training in ‘dance and art’ in Bhubaneswar, headed by the ace dancer Sonali Mohapatra who put everything together in organizing this training workshop for these speech and hearing disabled students.
As she has been engaged with people with such deficiencies, she understands their hidden talent and extraordinary abilities.
“These students are exceptionally brilliant and learn very fast, and this was evident throughout the training and through this display”, said Priyadarsini.
“I was amazed to see this display of Odisha-handloom based fabric jewellery made by these children only after a five days training”, said Mohapatra.
“Now my trust and confidence has gone further high on these children.
Nrutya Upasana Pitha will continue organizing similar training workshops for the children having speech and hearing disabilities.
