Technical glitches in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) delayed voting in several booths of Odisha on Monday.
Chief Electoral Officer Nikunja Dhal said, "EVMs with technical glitches will be replaced within 30 minutes.
Voting is underway in 7303 polling stations.
During mock poll, several EVMs with glitches came to our notice and they were subsequently replaced."
Technical glitches in EVM delayed polling in Booth No.66 at Kumutiguda in Malkangiri district, Booth No.101 at Nuapada, Booth No.89 and 72 at Loharapali & Podapali respectively.
EVM glitches also held up voting in Booth No.160 & 194 in Jeypore and Booth No.59 & 60 at Boriguma.
Voting also got delayed due to technical glitch in EVM at Booth No.207 in Rayagada.
