Two government employees arrested for defrauding people on pretext of providing jobs

Puri(18/03/2023): The Brahmagiri Police in Puri district arrested two government employees for allegedly defrauding people on pretext of providing them jobs at Sri Jagannath College and Hospital in the pilgrim city. The accused have been identified as Kartika Sethi from Palli village under Brahmagiri police limits and Batakrushna Bhoi from Nalihana under Puri Sadar police limits. While Sethi works in the postal department, Bhoi is a peon at the office of Chief District Medical Officer. They have allegedly duped three persons at Budhang village under Brahmagiri police limits of Rs 4 lakh by promising them data entry operator jobs at the hospital.
