Odisha Cabinet hikes grant-in-aid of aided private college employees

Bhubaneswar(21/01/2023): The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday approved 12 important proposals. The major proposal that received the Cabinet nod include hike in the grant-in-aid of aided private college employees.
The enhancement in grant-in-aid will be effective from January 2022.
A total of 15,771 lecturers and employees will get the benefits.
The Cabinet also approved two rural pipe water supply projects for Bari and Korei blocks in Jajpur district.
As per decision, the projects will be completed in five years. Besides, three pipe water supply projects will come up in Nayagarh district and four in Malkangiri district.
This apart, the Cabinet also gave its approval for construction of a bridge over Subarnarekha River in Gobari ghat of Balasore district .
