Tourism Minister inaugurates Exhibition at Odisha Travel Bazar 2022

Bhubaneswar(28/10/2022): Minister of Odia Language, Literature & Culture, Excise and Tourism Aswini Kumar Patra inaugurated an exhibition at Odisha Travel Bazar 2022 held at Hotel Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
The Minister said, "We are delighted that after covid gap Odisha Travel Bazar has been organised.
It will provide a platform for exchange of ideas and interaction for domestic and foreign tourism stakeholders.
Odisha has few places which reagrded as heavenly.
Domestic and foreign operators will visit various tourist destinations of the state.
As infrastructure improved, we expect number of tourists to increase in future that leads to increase in revenue generation from this sector." The flagship initiative of the Department of Tourism will provide an opportunity to sellers to exhibit their product over the 3-days exhibition to be organised at the venue.
About 25 Foreign Tour Operators from countries like Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Tanzania, Thailand and Vietnam are the participants in the 4th edition of Odisha Travel Bazar. Similarly, 83 buyers from cities like Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chandrapur, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mangalgiri, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, New Delhi and NCR, Panjim, Pune, Raipur, Rohtak, Siliguri, Surendra Nagar, Trivendrum, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam have participated in the event.
