Bhubaneswar(22/09/2022): The Odisha Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday approved 33 important proposals.
The State Cabinet approved 14 mega lift projects for Keonjhar district.
An amount of Rs 511 crore will be spent for this purpose.
As per decision, two barrages will be constructed across Baitarani River at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore.
Besides, nine new excise stations will be opened at Gopalpur, Kharprakhol, Mohana, Daringbadi, Joda, Sukruli, Koida, Hatadihi and Muniguda.
A total of 457 new posts will be created in the excise department.
It was decided that there will be 15 percent reservation for students in sports hostels of Physical Education colleges
