Bhubaneswar(02/07/2022): Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari on Saturday presented the annual budget of Rs 2 lakh crore for 2022-23 fiscal in the State Assembly.
An amount of Rs 1874 crore has been allocated for Kalia scheme while Rs 161 crore has been proposed for agriculture research and education & Rs 968 crore for control of floods.
Similarly, Rs 1325 crore has been allocated under the ABADHA scheme and Rs 200 crore each under EKAMRA and SAMALEI schemes.
The Finance Minister allocated Rs 1688 crore for Biju Setu Yojana and Rs 911 crore for Sports sector.
Besides, Rs 27,325 crore has been allocated for education and skill development.
This apart, Rs 50 crore has been earmarked to promote use of electric vehicles in the state and Rs 150 crore under the Integrated Development of Heritage and Monuments and Tourist Destinations scheme.
An amount of Rs 2,664 crore has been allocated for Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana
