Ragging at VSSUT: Disciplinary action initiated against 6 students

Sambalpur(14/01/2022): The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Sambalpur district has initiated disciplinary action against six students involved in a ragging incident that happened at the institute in December last year. The authorities of the University have decided to deduct one grade point from first two subjects of the 7th end-semester examination-2021 of the implicated students.Besides, a fine of Rs 15,000 each has been imposed on all the six students. The accused will deposit the amount in the Dean’s account and submit written undertaking .
