Bhubaneswar(07/04/2020): People's Cultural Centre (PECUC) on Tuesday supported 163 households having 1920 people who are daily wage labourers at Khurda Municipality with dry ration for three days ( dak, flatrice, atta, salt, sugar, haldi, biscuits, soaps).
Members of the organisation also provided 500 masks to Khurda district administration for service providers collaboration with SGK foundation.
PECUC supported 163 migrant families from Maharashtra and Murishadabad, tribal people at Balianta block with dry ration ( rice, dal,atta, salt, haldi, oil, vegetables, potato, etc soap) for cooking food for 7 days.
Also, PECUC staff and volunteers are continuously engaged in awareness generation, social distancing, hand wash practice, supporting service providers for distribution in Balianta, Bolagarh, Bhubaneswar block and Khurda municipality and BMC area, also PECUC team facilitating children how to engage them through various activities painting, writing, slogans and counselling.
Besides, the team members are engaged in addressing the elderly, pregnant women if any issues and any other issues..
