Separated conjoined twins Jaga & Kalia to reach Odisha on September 7

Bhubaneswar(29/08/2019): Separated conjoined twins Jaga and Kalia will be discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on September 6, informed Health Minister Naba Das on Thursday.
“Jaga and Kalia will be brought to Odisha through Rajdhani Express on September 7.
They will be admitted to Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital”, the Minister said.
The twins hailing from Milipada village in Kandhamal district were taken to AIIMS on July 13, 2017. A team of 40 doctors including experts from Japan conducted a 24-hour long first phase surgery later on August 28 to separate them. Finally, Jaga and Kalia were separated by a team of doctors after a 21-hour-long marathon surgery at the premier healthcare institution on October 25, 2017.
