PM Modi addresses first Mann Ki Baat of 2022

New Delhi(30/01/2022): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation in this year’s first episode of his Mann Ki Baat monthly radio programme. The 85th episode of Mann Ki Baat was deferred by half an hour as the Prime Minister paid obeisance to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary.
The PM said, “More than 1 crore children have told me their ‘Mann Ki Baat’ through postcards from different parts of the country and the world.
I have read many of them.
These postcards give a glimpse of broad and comprehensive outlook of our new generation for our country’s future.” Congratulating the Padma Award Winners, PM Modi said, “There are many such names among the recipients of Padma Awards, about which very few people know.
These are the unsung heroes of our country, who have done extraordinary things in ordinary circumstances.” The Prime Minister emphasized that around 4.5 crore children have taken COVID-19 vaccine so far and stated that the faith of our people in our nation’s vaccine is a great source of strength.
Further, he advised the countrymen to accelerate the campaign against single use plastic .
